At Beechwood College, we challenge the notion that people with an ASC cannot be creative: while the actual skills used to express creativity are systematically taught (how to sketch; how to sculpt; how to use computer animation; how to play a keyboard etc) the actual process of creating and using those skills is often displayed by our students themselves in a free-form manner.
We offer a broad spectrum of 2D and 3D art including ceramics, painting, print making and sculpture. Each student will be given the opportunity to select for themselves a specific area in which they may specialise.
The immediate surroundings of the College provide an endless source of artistic inspiration and resources, many of which will be utilised within pieces of artwork.
