However, moving on from Beechwood College does not necessarily mean leaving the student’s familiar support networks, services, or local area behind. As part of Iris Care Group, we can offer a seamless transition into one of our specialist residential homes or supported living services, located across South Wales, South West England, and the Midlands.
Our residential and supported living services are situated within local communities, providing excellent opportunities for individuals to develop meaningful community connections and access a wide range of social, leisure, educational, and vocation related activities. Suitable accommodation options are offered based on assessed need and personal preference, and include a mixture of self-contained flats, shared homes, and accessible and adapted homes.
Across all Iris Care Group services, we are committed to helping every person we support develop the skills, confidence, and independence they need to live as independently as possible. Iris Care Group’s framework – the Perfect Journey – embeds excellence into all aspects of care and service delivery, and support is person-centred and tailored to meet each individual’s needs, goals, and aspirations, at a pace that is right for them.
Our residential, supported living, and specialist multidisciplinary teams are highly trained and experienced in supporting young adults to prepare for the future. By working closely with each individual, their families, and wider circles of support, we help ensure a smooth transition into the next stage of life, with the right support in place to achieve positive outcomes and long-term success.
